Vendors: Tables are 6′ $20 each, limited amounts of second tables are available at an additional cost of $10. All vendors are asked to please donate a small item to be used in the door prize draw. Please note as this is a small market a limited amount of direct sellers will be accepted (direct seller tables are now full).

On May 26 join us for a night of laughter and cheer in support of Chebucto Family Centre! Featuring three comedians, it promises to be a night of fun with friends.
Our night will begin with relaxing in the lounge, glass of wine or beer in hand, browsing the many items available at the silent auction tables. At 8pm we will move into the theatre for the comedy of Ian Black and Carey Lee.
Following the intermission we will return to the theatre for more laughs featuring Francois Webber. Successful winners of silent auction items will be posted following the show.
Tickets are $25 each and include two glasses of wine or beer, hors d’oeuvres and a great night laughing with friends and family in support of Chebucto Family Centre.

Looking for Focus Group Participants To Share Ideas And Experiences About Farmers Markets in Nova Scotia
The Chebucto Family Center will host a focus group on Tuesday, July 30th. We are looking for 6-12 participants who are willing to share their ideas and experiences with Farmers Markets in Nova Scotia. Catherine Hart, a research student at Dalhousie, will be facilitating the group discussion.
To support this worthwhile project on healthy eating /food security, we will provide the space, refreshments, and childcare –if needed. Please note that childcare spaces are limited, and advanced registration is required.

The play is based on true stories of birth portrayed by local Doulas and directed by Ann-Marie Kerr. This event is in support of the Chebucto Family Centre, a service of the Home of the Guardian Angel which is located in the Spryfield area of Halifax.

After 125 years of service to Nova Scotia families and children, the Home of the Guardian Angel is transferring responsibility for adoption placement and counselling to the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services.
The Home of the Guardian Angel will continue to assist families and pregnant women through its thriving Chebucto Family Centre in Spryfield. Our programs and services include Volunteer Doula Program, Prenatal/Postnatal Support, Parenting Programs, Breastfeeding Support, Family Support and Counselling, Enhanced Community Home Visiting, Family Literacy, Preschool and a variety of Wellness Programs.
The Home of the Guardian Angel will continue to make a positive difference in the lives of women, children and families.
